Hanishan Dachshunds is owned by ourselves, Nick, Sharron and Hannah Shone, and we are now based in the Fens north of Cambridgeshire, with views of open farmland, where we breed Miniature Wire-haired dachshunds and Miniature Long-haired dachshunds.

Our dachshunds are brought up in an environment where they are encouraged to run as a pack and enjoy the benefits of facing everyday life experiences.

Our aim is to breed for health and type so that well balanced dogs are able to show, track and hunt. Their temperament has to be second to none, making lovely pets to own and love. 

They enjoy being part of a family, yet are able to adapt to showing and trials, or just being a chilled out Dachshund.

Our dogs have been placed at the top at shows in the U.K. as well as in the Republic of Ireland.
